Last updated: 29 August 2026 · Version 1.0

This page states the terms on which automated clients may access content on Misar.Blog. It is the human-readable counterpart to the machine-readable offer served with an
HTTP 402 Payment Required
response, and to /license.xml. Where the two describe the same thing, they are intended to say the same thing; if they ever diverge, this page governs.

1. Access is not blocked. It is priced.

We do not serve a blanket
Disallow
to AI crawlers. Most automated access is free, and the crawlers that surface and cite our writers' work are deliberately never gated. A charge applies only to bulk retrieval for model training.

Free, and intended to stay free

Search indexing — Googlebot, Bingbot, Applebot and comparable index crawlers.

Citation and answer engines — OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot and comparable crawlers that link back to the source.

User-triggered agents — an assistant fetching a page because a person asked for that page.

These are how readers and writers find each other. Charging for them would cost our writers more than it earned them.

Metered

Model-training and bulk corpus crawlers — GPTBot, ClaudeBot, CCBot and comparable clients.

2. Price

Unit

Price

One article fetch

$0.02 USDC

Any other metered fetch

$0.01 USDC

The price for a specific request is always the amount advertised in that request's own 402 response — in the
accepts[]
array of the JSON body, in the
PAYMENT-REQUIRED
header, and in the
crawler-price
header. Where this page and a live 402 disagree, the 402 is the offer.

3. How to pay

We implement x402 (version 2). A metered request returns
402
with a
PaymentRequired
object describing the offer. Retry the same request with a signed
X-PAYMENT
authorization and, once it verifies and settles, the content is returned.

Network: Base mainnet (
eip155:8453
)

Asset: USDC (
0x833589fCD6eDb6E08f4c7C32D4f71b54bdA02913
)

Pay to:
0x90fBE217fa449253AC8B893852CA1DcA43e231Ec

Authorization window: 120 seconds

Payment is verified and settled before content is served. An absent, malformed, unverifiable or unsettled authorization returns
402
again — never the content. We do not extend credit and we do not serve first and bill later.

4. What a paid fetch grants

Payment for a fetch grants a licence to retrieve and to use that specific content for model training, for the entity that paid. It is granted per fetch: it is not a subscription, not a site licence, and not transferable to another party.

It does not grant the right to republish the work, to present it as your own, or to redistribute it as a standalone corpus. Copyright remains with the author. Nothing here waives an author's moral rights or any right that cannot be waived by contract.

5. Where the money goes

Crawl revenue is shared with the writer whose work was fetched, on the same basis as every other revenue stream on this platform: 75% to the writer, 25% to the platform. We distribute what we actually receive — no more, and no less.

6. Honest limits

We would rather state these than have you discover them.

Our impression and crawl counts are our own measurements. They will not exactly match yours, and we do not claim otherwise.

A 402 is not a claim that every gated fetch was unauthorised — it is a request to license bulk training access, nothing more.

If you believe your crawler is misclassified, tell us. Misclassification is a bug, and we would rather fix it than argue about it.

7. Alternatives to per-fetch payment

If per-fetch payment does not suit your operation, we are open to a bulk or corpus licence, and to a negotiated rate. We would rather reach an agreement than serve you a 402 forever.

8.
